Hi guys, my name is Archie but some of you might remember me as Sausage because that was my name before I joined Hero's Haven who rescued me from a kill shelter. My foster family renamed me Archie and I like the name! Hero's Haven saved my sister Ham too!

I guess I'm something called a mixed breed which means the rescue doesn't really know what I am but I think I have some heeler in me. I currently weigh around 35 lbs. I'm just the right size!

I'm still learning what life outside a shelter is all about. I grew up in the kill shelter with my sister and as much as I love living in a home it's been a big change! My foster mom says I'm doing well with potty training! I'm so proud of myself! I do still need more confidence when it comes to being left alone in my crate though. It's kinda scary and I don't like when my foster family leaves the house! I'm working on it though, I promise.

I love ALL the toys and bones! I also enjoy playing with other dogs. I hope to have a buddy or two who want to be rambunctious with me in my forever home!

Oh and the rescue wants me to let you know that I am neutered, current on vaccines and preventatives, and heartworm negative.
