This sweet boy came to us from an Iowa shelter with a fractured leg. His leg has since healed and he just go this cast off! He's SO happy to be done with that thing!
Gus is a mixed breed pup estimated to be around 10 months old. He weighs about 30 lbs and we don't think he'll get that much bigger.
He loves other dogs but will also play independently with his own toys. He's house trained and crate trained. He may do okay with cats but will probably try to play with them. We're certain he'd do well with kids. He's a really happy older puppy who is a lot of fun and enjoys tummy rubs! He is working on learning to not jump up when he's excited.
Gus' adoption fee is $325. He is not yet neutered but can go to an adoptive home with a pre-neuter contract which means the neuter can be done at our expense with one of our vets at a later date ASAP. He is current on vaccines, has been dewormed, and has tested heartworm negative. He's also microchipped.
