Honey is a sweet but very timid pup. We rescued her form euthanasia by bringing her from Oklahoma to Iowa. She clearly was not socialized to people very well in her first months of life as she is pretty skittish at first. To be clear, she is NOT aggressive at all. She's slowly overcoming her fears and learning how to be a dog while bonding with her foster family. She ADORES other dogs and having a dog buddy in her foster home has brought out a more playful, confident side of her. For this reason, we would like to find her a forever home with at least one other dog who will want to be her friend. She's done fantastic with potty training. Leash training will be a slow work in progress as the leash terrifies her. We will want her to go to a home with a fenced in yard given her fear of leashes and her temperament, for her safety. She really likes being outside.
