Introducing Miss Honey! She is now available for adoption!
Honey is a 3-4 year old old dachshund mix, who loves to snuggle on the couch, go for walks and hang with her person!
She will need a home with NO other animals. Honey is also hoping to find a home with someone who is home frequently, she misses her humans when they are gone for long periods of time.. OH and a big backyard to run and play in!
FOSTER/ADOPTION PROCESS: Anyone wanting to foster or adopt for Hero’s Haven must complete the appropriate application on our website, heroshavenanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org. You must complete the application in its entirety to be considered. To be approved, you must successfully pass all portions of the application process: 1) Vet Reference: All current animals must be up-to-date on vaccines and spayed/neutered, unless there is a legitimate medical reason for not meeting these requirements. 2) Personal References: Three personal references over the age of 21 (and only one family member) must provide positive feedback. 3) Home Check: Your home environment must prove to be a safe and healthy environment for the animal. 4) Background Check: Anyone with criminal charges relating to animal abuse/neglect/torture are automatically denied, NO EXCEPTIONS. If any information is falsified on your application, it will also results in automatic denial. This process is put in place to ensure the animals in our care go to only the very best homes.
