Landry is a quirky 8 year old basset/pitt mix. He has been in foster care for three months now and is looking for a permanent home. Landry is fully potty trained, well socialized, and good with cats and kids. Because of his age and stocky build, he may struggle with stairs and long walks but he gets around the house just fine. He would love a home where he can continue to take long naps on the couch, soak up the sun, and get lots of pettings!
Landry has grown a lot of fur back since being rescued but he will always have some baldness on his back and legs. He also has some growths that are non cancerous caused by allergies. They can be surgically removed but it is not necessary and doesn't affect his quality of life.
Landry is up to date on all his shots and vaccinations and gets an allergy shot annually. He has just finished his cephalexin and apoquel medications. We give him cosequin twice a day (for joint pain) and he gobbles them up like treats. His diet is Hill's Derm Complete and it is recommended he stay on that.
