Dumpling was living outside as part of a colony of cats at a truck stop prior to coming to Hero's Haven. The employees there took great care of them but it wasn't safe with all the traffic and we felt they deserved a chance at an indoor home since they were pretty tame. 

Dumpling was very pregnant at the time of her rescue and gave birth to four kittens shortly after, Pierogi, Kreplach, Samosa and Ravioli. She was a great mother but we are so glad she won't have to live an outdoor life having three litters a year!

Dumpling is a sweet cat who can be shy and a little skittish with people she doesn't know. She doesn't enjoy being picked up or held but she loves being pet and even rolls over on her back to get tummy rubs sometimes. She'd make a great cat for anyone who is looking for a low-maintenance sidekick.

Adoption fee $85. Dumpling is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
