This is Boomer. He is a 15 month old Goldendoodle who is housetrained and good with other dogs. He is up-to-date on his vaccinations, but is not yet fixed. We will get him fixed prior to adoption. His current family says he needs exercise to keep him from being destructive. Goldendoodles are an active breed and will require some stimulation to appease their energy. A fenced-in yard where he can run or an active adopter who will be able to run off his energy would be ideal. If you have not yet applied, please read the application process guidelines below. *********************** FOSTER/ADOPTION PROCESS: Anyone wanting to foster or adopt for Hero’s Haven must complete the appropriate application on our website, heroshavenanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms. You must complete the application in its entirety to be considered. To be approved, you must successfully pass all portions of the application process: 1) Vet Reference: All current animals must be up-to-date on vaccines and spayed/neutered, unless there is a legitimate medical reason for not meeting these requirements. 2) Personal References: Three personal references over the age of 21 (and only one family member) must provide positive feedback. 3) Home Check: Your home environment must prove to be a safe and healthy environment for the animal. 4) Background Check: Anyone with criminal charges relating to animal abuse/neglect/torture are automatically denied, NO EXCEPTIONS. If any information is falsified on your application, it will also result in automatic denial. This process is put in place to ensure the animals in our care go to only the very best homes. Many have not had good lives to begin with and it’s our duty to them to make sure they leave our care for loving, dedicated, safe homes.
