Everything is bigger in Texas and this former Texan has the personality to prove it! Vixen is not only handsome but he’s good with dogs of all sizes and he’s done well around kids. His former foster mom says he’s good around cats but we don’t have any to test that theory. He’s content snuggling up to you on the couch or relaxing by himself. He’s enthusiastic and loves toys.... he almost always has one. He would do best in a home with other playful dogs as he’s still working on his manners and he has lots of energy to burn and lots of love to show them!
Vixen is food and praise motivated. He is eager to please his people and wants to learn, but he does have some quirks. He will search for food anywhere and does jump on counters or tall surfaces to reach it.... so make sure your snacks are put away! He also jumps on people because he’s so excited to introduce himself and wants everyone to know he loves them. He does get a little excited at new things and will get wound up but he’s quick to calm down. We’re working on his manners and letting him know that he doesn’t have to search for his food.... he’s improved a bit in his short time with us.
