Benelli is a king German Shepard. He’s is 1 1/2 years old and weighs about 100+ lbs. Benny is currently in a foster home with two "large" dogs and does great when playing with them. He has been around cats and doesn't chase or bother them. Due to his size we are recommending a home with older kids. He may easily knock younger kids over, as he is not aware how big he really is. Benny is potty trained and kennel trained, but even though he is kennel trained, it is his preference and feels more comfortable when left out. Benny sometimes uses a "low growl" as a form of communication. This might be seen as a sign of aggression, but it is showing to be a form of communication he is using. Training and trust is going to show how special this big guy really is.
