Swiper, a one year old male Husky/Chow mix is ready to join your family!  He is a treasure!  He is a gentle, quiet, respectful fella, who gladly welcomes a back or belly massage at anytime.  

He goes to the door when he wants to go outside; and is also slowly understanding the gist of ‘ringing a doggy bell’ when he wants to go out.  

He is energetic and loves to play, especially with other dog housemates.  He longs to be outside in the snow and in the cold weather, and will softly announce when he would like to come back inside.  

At bedtime, he understands ‘let’s go night night’ and will lay on the cold bathroom tile or next to the bed, looking for a cool space after he has cuddled for a while.  

He does not steal others mates food, nor bother the trash.  Yet on occasion he may find a random Covid mask hanging from the table and grab it to play a stellar game of keep away.  

Swiper has exceptional hearing and will quickly notify you of an issue on the premises.  He is not an avid barker, but will announce guests for you until he knows who they are.  

The perfect home would include a family member (or dog mate) that could be with him for the good majority of the day.

An absolute sweet boy, who is full of love to give. ♥️

Swiper is a beautiful 1 yr old Chow/Husky mix who is very timid meeting new people.  He is very affectionate and loving and has a wonderful temperament.  His only downfall is that he has severe separation anxiety, due to going through so many homes in under 1 yr of age.  He needs stability and to needs to feel like he's not going to lose another family.

Due to his separation anxiety, he would do best with someone who works from home, or in a home where someone is always at home.  He has eaten a hole through the drywall before, and escaped kennels due to his anxiety, so we are going to be extremely picky on who adopts him, so that he doesn't have to be returned and we have to start building him back up again after being let down.  So he will need someone experienced with separation anxiety in dogs, and someone who has a track record of not giving up when things get hard.

Swiper is great with dogs and kids, but unsure of cats.  His adoption fee is $250.00 which includes all vet work.  Meet and greets are scheduled after an application is filled out.  Reference checks and a home check are required to adopt.
