Nelson was trapped in September at a truck stop where he was living as part of an outdoor community cat colony. We thought he'd be too undersocialized and need to be TNRed (trap-neuter-returned) but he turned out to be so sweet almost right away. He smelled like diesel fuel for weeks but not anymore! He is shy around new people and in unfamiliar environments but once he's been given a chance to warm up, you won't find a sweeter, friendlier cat. He loves to cuddle, making biscuits and purring as he prepares to snuggle in for a nap. His foster mom sometimes lets him sleep with her at night and he's in heaven; it sure beats sleeping on the streets. He also loves to play with his fellow foster kittens and just follow the humans around waiting for the next adventure or opportunity to snuggle. Nelson is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Adoption fee $100.
